Acceptance of Terms
The public use of this website, sale of product and use of services are governed by the following Terms and Conditions. By using all or any part of the PeapodMats website, you agree to and are bound by all the terms set forth. Please take a few minutes to review.
Your Account
When shopping within the PeapodMats website, you have the option to create an account or stop by for a one-time purchase. Creating an account with us will facilitate future checkouts and allow us to periodically alert you about product launches, special features, sales, contests, or, in rare cases, recalls. PeapodMats is committed to your privacy and will never share your information with anyone except with our shipping partners to deliver your purchases (see Privacy Policy for more details). We ask you kindly not to share your login information with anyone as you are wholly responsible for the activity on your account.
Pricing
The price for the goods will be as stipulated on the website at the time you place your order. We reserve the right to make adjustments to the price without notice to reflect supplier price increases, new taxes or duties, or other changes in pricing policy. Prices for our products are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue the products/service (or any part or content thereof) without notice. We shall not be liable to you or to any third-party for any modification, price change, suspension, or discontinuance of products/service.
Price Adjustment Policy
We offer a 7-day price adjustment window for purchases made directly from PeapodMats. If you purchased an item at full price and it goes on sale within 7 days of your original purchase date, we will gladly refund the difference.
How it works:
- The purchase must have been made within the last 7days.
- The exact same item (size, color, style) must be in stock and on sale on our website at the time of the request.
- Price adjustments apply to PeapodMats.com order only.
- Price adjustments do not apply to Amazon or Retail Stores.
- Only one price adjustment can be issued per item.
Security
All Visa and Mastercard transactions are processed by Shopify. Shopify is a Canadian commerce company headquartered in Ottawa, Ontario, and is publicly traded on the NASDAQ under the symbol SHOP. Shopify meets all 6 categories of PCI standards (the highest set forth by the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council). For more information: https://www.pcisecuritystandards.org/. Shopify uses industry-leading encryption and security systems and is monitored 24/7. Credit card and order data is encrypted and secure with level 1 PCI compliance and 256-bit SSL certificates.
Newsletter
When you place an order, you will be signed up to our database. You can unsubscribe at any time via the newsletter footer or by emailing us at info@peapodmats.com with the subject line: "Unsubscribe Please."
Inventory
We do our best to maintain stock levels on all products, but it is possible that a product you order may be temporarily out of stock. If this happens, we will contact you as soon as possible. You will have the option to cancel your order or wait until the item is back in stock.
Catalogue
We strive to accurately describe all products and provide relevant information. However, product descriptions and dimensions may contain errors or omissions. PeapodMats may update or correct product information at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the website constitutes agreement to the most recent and posted Terms and Conditions.
Proprietary Rights and Licences
All content on the website (including text, software, images, designs, layouts, etc.) is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, publish, or sell any such content without express authorization. When you post content to our website or social media, you grant PeapodMats a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide license to use and display such content.
Currency
While our website defaults to and processes all orders in USD (U.S. Dollars), it includes a built-in currency converter that displays approximate pricing in your local currency based on current exchange rates. Final checkout and charges will still be in USD, and your payment provider may apply additional conversion fees.
Taxes
All Canadian customers are subject to PST/GST/HST based on their province of residence. No taxes will be applied to orders outside of Canada.
Customs and Duty (International Orders Only)
International orders are often subject to local taxes, import duties, and brokerage fees that are not included in our product prices or shipping costs. These fees are the responsibility of the purchaser. Please be aware of any applicable regulations and fees in your country.
Shipping
PeapodMats uses Amazon Fulfillment Shipping for destinations within Canada and the continental US. We also use Canada Post, FedEx, and UPS as needed.
Processing Time:
Orders are processed within 1 to 3 business days (Monday–Friday, excluding holidays). Orders placed after 12 PM PST may be processed the following business day. In the event of high order volumes, processing may be delayed. We will notify you via email if there are significant delays
Shipping Times:
- Canada: Standard Shipping 6–10 business days
- USA: Standard Shipping 6–10 business days
Please note that these are estimates, not guarantees. Delivery times may vary due to local delivery service delays or unforeseen events.
Shipping Costs:
- Canada & Continental US Retail Orders: Flat rate = $0. Some orders may incur increased rates due to size/location, including heavy goods fees.
- International Orders: Shipping rates calculated at checkout. Canada Post Small Packet International Air is not trackable. Estimated delivery: 6–10 business days. Customs duties, taxes, or import fees are the responsibility of the purchaser.
Order Processing & Shipping Changes
Our fulfillment system begins processing orders quickly to ensure fast delivery. Once an order has been packaged and marked as shipped, it cannot be cancelled, modified, or rerouted. Please verify that your shipping address and order details are correct before checkout, as changes cannot be made once your order is in the final stages of fulfillment.
Important Shipping Information for Apartment Complexes:
If your order is shipped to an apartment or multi-unit building, ensure a secure delivery location is available (e.g., parcel locker, concierge, secure mailroom). PeapodMats is not responsible for lost packages if a secure drop-off point is not available.
Tracking:
When your order ships, you will receive an email with tracking info. Please allow 24–72 hours for tracking to update. Check your spam/junk folder if you do not see the email.
Signature:
Orders are shipped without signature confirmation. Carriers may leave your package at the delivery address if no one is available to receive it. Once a package is marked as delivered by the carrier, PeapodMats cannot assume responsibility for lost, stolen, or misplaced packages.
Wrong Address:
Customers are responsible for entering the correct and complete shipping address at checkout. Costs incurred due to incorrect or incomplete addresses, including product replacement and re-shipping, are the customer’s responsibility.
Missing, Lost or Damaged Orders:
If your order is lost in transit or marked as delivered but not received, please contact the courier first. If unresolved, contact us at info@peapodmats.com within 7 days of the delivery date. We will assist in investigating the issue. PeapodMats is not liable for lost or stolen packages after delivery confirmation.
Limitation of Liability
To the extent lawfully permitted, we are not liable for any claims, losses, or damages resulting from:
- Use or inability to use our website
- Use of our products or services (unless otherwise expressly stated)
- Unauthorized access to or changes in your data
- Third-party content or conduct
Our total liability will not exceed USD $1000. We are not liable for loss of profits, goodwill, business, data, or any indirect or consequential damages. This limitation does not apply to personal injury or death resulting from our negligence.
Advertisements and Promotions
We may display ads or promotions for our products/services or those of authorized third parties.
